Guess what, this place ain't bad! I was avoiding it because what was in there before was pretty darn gross, but they did a hell of a cleaning job and the sandwiches are great. Big city deli style sandwiches right here in GJ. The fries aren't my favorite, a little soggy and soft actually, but they give you a huge pile. I go with chips now. The atmosphere is laid back and friendly with a mix of college kids and working stiffs in the small dining room.

Chomps, is by far my favorite place to grab a sandwich in Grand Junction. I would highly recommend the Italian Big Bite Sub, it's larger then a normal 12 inch and is absolutely delicious. They also offer a fantastic deal for students with 20% off any purchase.

Didn't get to taste my food after walking back to campus, had to walk all the way back because they got my order wrong. Now my fries are cold. Awesome. Prices are still high even with the student discount. Food is nothing special.

The food was okay. Some coworkers and I called in for 4 sandwich or salad orders for delivery. We pooled our money so it would be only one ticket, but we got charged a delivery fee 4 times. When we asked the delivery guy about it, he just shrugged and said that's how they do delivery there. I may try their food on a different occasion, but it will NOT be delivery.

This is one of the best delis here in town. The Italian is outstanding. The staff is super friendly and you get your sandwich fast. And they give students a great discount!

So good! Quality meat (and a lot of it) and fresh vegetables all on delicious bread. I also really love that they're not afraid to use spicy peppers standard on every sandwich. It's a lot of food for the price, too. All-around excellent deli sandwich. Lastly, they have Tim's chips, which are among the best if you ask me. Try it! They deliver for $1!

Was very impressed with this sandwich joint. I Ordered the Italian. It was everything I wanted out of a sandwich, full of meat, fresh veggies, and great mayo.

Nothing about my experience was enjoyable. The restroom was out of toilet paper and paper towels. The tables were dirty and very sticky. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich. The chicken was a gross shade of green-gray, the lettuce and tomato we both pitiful, and overall the sandwich had zero flavor. I threw most of it away. Total waste of $7. Wish I had gone to the McD's next door.

My first experience was pretty awful. I ordered a salad to go, and when I got back to my office, I realized that they sort of gave me the Chinese Chicken salad instead of the plain chicken salad I ordered. Here's the description of the Chinese Chicken Salad: seasoned chicken breast, mandarin oranges, water chestnuts, green onion, carrots, peanuts, and crisp wantons on a bed of mixed greens. Served with a light sesame dressing. Mine had chicken, canned oranges, brown water chestnuts and slimy onion and tomato clearly not from today. No green onions, carrots, peanuts, or crisp wantons. There were a few mixed greens on top of a large pile of shredded iceberg. The large salad--over $7--is slightly larger than the side salad you'd get with a meal, so it's not really worth it, even if my salad had had all the items it was supposed to. And the iced tea is old and tastes bad. The whole thing went in the trash, basically.
